Tiny Tots Janmashtami !!
The pious festival of Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna, was celebrated with great religious fervour in RPS School Mahendragarh campus by the tiny tots of primary section. The celebration commenced with music followed by “Tilak and Bhog” ceremony.
Little champs from Kids to 2nd came in traditional attire. The Students of other classes donned the roles of Lord Krishna and Gopikas amongst many other characters related to the celebration. Some stage burning dance performances were splendid. A beautiful backdrop was made with little krishna in the cradle. The main eye catching event was “Dahi Handi”.
Hon’ble Chairperson Dr. Pavitra Rao graced everyone with”HappyJanmashtami” and her motivational line “Work is Worship.” She also added that such celebrations should be organised to keep our tradition and culture alive. The programme ended with “Prasad” distribution and a wonderful tableau (Jhakii) was presented in the entire campus. It was a really a splendid day for all.
