‘Ekatm Yatra’ : CM Initiative for Metal Collection for Adi Shankaracharya Statue
Rewa/Ujjain: The ‘Ekatm Yatra’ will begins today. The Yatra is to collect metal for the construction of the statue of Adi Shankaracharya. It will also create a mass awareness campaign for the teachings of Adi Shankaracharya. This ‘Ekatm Yatra’ will begin from Mahakaleshwar temple, Ujjain along with three other places in Madhya Pradesh. Swami Paramatmanand Saraswati of Rajkot will led the Yatra from Ujjain.
The yatra will cover Omkareshwar by Indore, Dewas, Rajgarh, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Shivpuri, Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Gwalior and Datia and will cover a distance of approximately 2175 km in 12 districts.
The yatra will go around Ujjain district after worshiping “Charan Paduka” of Adi Shankaracharya and people meeting. The flag of the ‘Ekatm Yatra’ hoisted at the onset.
