First Time Jain Festival Paryushan will be discussed in Parliament of World’s Religions

New Delhi: Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti eminent Jain Acharya Lokesh Muni will address Parliament of World’s Religions organised from November 1-7, 2018 in Toronto, Canada. This year around 1000 representatives from 80 countries will take part in the POWR. This is the same Parliament of World’s Religions in which Swami Vivekananda delivered his speech in 1893 at Chicago and attracted world’s attention to Indian spirituality heritage. Acharya Lokesh had addressed the inaugural session of Parliament of World’s Religions 2015 at Salt Lake City USA.
Acharya Lokesh will deliver speech on three contemporary topics first ‘Global warming & depleting natural resources’, second ‘Peace & Love, Not War, Hate & Violence’, and third ‘The Spiritual Evolution of Humanity & Healing our Mother Earth Paryushan Parv’. For the first time important annual Jain Festival Paryushan will be diascussed by Achara Dr. Lokesh Muni, he will tell how this festival will uplift humanity. It is a matter of honor for India that by discussing these issues Acharya Lokesh will bring pride to Indian culture and Jainism.
Parliament of World’s Religion is a platform on which Noble Prize winners, eminent Religious leaders, social workers, educationists, environmentalist, thinkers, philosophers etc, from different parts of the world come on one platform to discuss how to make this world a better place to live. The Parliament offers programming for all, from scholars and activists to families and children – lectures to interactive cultural experiences.
