With Grandness and Magnanimity World Yoga Festival Concludes on Goa, India
The World Yoga Community, International Sadguru Foundation and Sadguru Yog Gurukul along with the ministry of Ayush as well as Goa Tourism corporation had organised the World Yoga Festival at the miramar beach, Goa on Saturday the 3rd of February 2018. The festival commenced with the Vishwa shanti yagnya by lady purohits performing yagnya on the beach for global peace.
The purnahuti was given at the hands of all saints who attended the world yoga festival,the patron of the festival H.H.Brahmeshanandacharya swamiji president of international Sadguru foundation and peethadishwar of the Dutta Padmanabh peeth as well as the jagadguru Deelipkumar Thankappanji – the founder of the world yoga community(New York) along with other dignitaries Honarable minister for Ayush Shripadji Naik,yogshiromani Dr Gopalji of global yog alliance,mahamandaleshwar Shivanand Saraswati – founder of surya Chandra ashram Italy ,Dr gopalanandji,Swami Atma nabhiji(Tamil Nadu)Swami bodichitanand ,Niranjan swami SGS -Bangalore,Saraswati( California-Rishikesh)Swami yatidharmanandji( Orissa) ,yogi Ashutoshji (Delhi) known for reforming Tihar jail prisoners thro yoga ,Babaji, Guinness world record yogi Vishwanath Kulkarni (Vietnam),president of the youth chamber of commerce mr Mohammed Imran Ali (UAE),Adv Brahmideviji(Sadguru yog Gurukul)Shri Harshad solankiji (Gujarat)mr Asif (Qatar),MLA Dongri mr Francis silviera,Dr Subhash Velingkarji,Dr Franklin Das(INO)Dr Swapnil nagvekar (International sadguru council UAE) and others along with nearly 2000 yoga practitioners ,experts, and yog seekers .
Shree Kshetra Tapobhoomi as well as the world yoga festival celebrates their silver jubilee year 2018 , this twin celebration conjugated and united the world yoga fraternity on the miramar beach .
The honarable minister appreciated the joint efforts of these two organisations which brought to light the significance of yoga for healthy living,yoga for all people.He quoted that 12 asanas are seen during the rendering of the sacred namaz by Moslem brothers,He also promised to take yog to UAE thro these organisations in the near future,offered reverence to all yogis who graced the dais for WYF 2018 in Goa.
Jagadguru Dilipji also honoured the yoga masters with “Ambassadors of Yoga” by presenting the title specially to Adv Brahmideviji-president of Sadguru Yog Gurukul along with others modern yoga masters.Adv Brahmideviji was declared President of World yoga community-Goa chapter on this occasion.The festival signified its theme by unfurling three white doves as a mark to freedom and peace.The sadguru Brahmeshanandacharya ji then took over to explain the significance of the concept of this festival on a Goan beach.The Swami quoted that the women purohits who performed the holy yadnya on this beach today signify the rich old glory of Goan women 1000 of years ago, this dimension of Goan women has changed over the years due to wrong image spread thro Goa tourism .The bhogbhoomi image of Goa will end with the sunset on this Goan beach and a new sunrise tomorrow will shine Goa on global platform as Yogbhoomi the Swami quoted!!
The beach would be transformed into a place for yogic tourism and not otherwise should be the aim and objective of the tourism corporation in Goa .”Eeshamaasya Midamsarva” All are creations of the divine were the Swamis great thoughts and words.Unite all humanity and love all creatures was the message to all yoga fans .Let yoga help in attaining” Atma Ghyana” or self realisation,this vision has helped many and won laurels to the Swami.On this occasion too ,the world yoga community bestowed upon the Swami “the interfaith religious award” at the hands of the Jagadguru dilipji.
The other attractions of this occasion were a divine spiritual musical evening of all the yoga masters and Shishyas apart from laughter yoga by dr gopalnandaji and yoga session by reverend dilipji thankappan imparted to all fellow Goans.The first yoga congress was proposed thro the ministry of Ayush at Qatar UAE in April 2018 on this occasion .The honourable minister for Ayush was also bestowed a title by the world yoga community at miramar.The evening ended by shanti path as the Swami inscribed on all to follow cleanliness on the beach as a contribution to the swatch Bharat mission of India
