Indian Railways (IRCTC) is offering a twelve days, ten destinations economical religious tour package ‘Seven Jyotirling Yatra’ for its customers. Under it, the passengers can avail a 11 nights/12 days Bharat Darshan tour package just for Rs 11,340 per adult.
For this purpose, the Indian Railways has made ‘Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train’ operational. It will cover all the important tourist places across the country. The package comprises of ten destinations— Omkareshwer, Ujjain, Ahmedabad, Dwarka, Nageshwar, Somnath, Trayambakeshwar, Shirdi, Bhimashankar, Grishneshwar. The Seven Jyotirling train NZBD217 will depart from Chandigarh railway station on April 18 at 7am.
Informing about the golden opportunity for the tourists, IRCTC posted on Twitter, “Thinking of a divine journey. Here is a golden opportunity to visit #Omkareshwer #Ujjain #Ahmedabad #Dwarka #Nageshwar #Somnath, #Trayambakeshwar #Shirdi #Bhimashankar #Grishneshwar in 11N/12D tour for Rs. 11340.”
Train boarding and deboarding points are Chandigarh, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Delhi Cantt, Alwar, Karnal, Jaipur, Rewari. Booking of tickets for Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Trains can be done online through the official website of IRCTC. The train will depart from Chandigarh at 7 AM on 18 April.
The package will offer sleeper class seats to passengers and vegetarian food in breakfast, lunch and dinner will be offered. The accommodation will be in non-AC dormitories/ hall and comfortable non-AC road travel will also be provided from one place to other.
Tour escort and security will be provided in the train. Entrance fee for monuments/ temples etc is not covered in the tour package.
Apart form Bharath Darshan IRCTC has also launched few other packages – Shiv-Shani and Sai Darshan, which is a 7-day tour and will start on 19 April. Places include Shirdi, Trimbakeshwar, Panchwati, Grishneshwar and Ellora and will cost Rs 19,580 per person.
The tour package is inclusive of the facilities like journey by sleeper class train, accommodation in non-AC dormitories/ hall, vegetarian food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), tour escort and security on train and tourist buses for visiting sightseeing spots.
Bookings for the Jyotirling tourist train is available online on the official website of IRCTC and also at the zonal office in Sector 34. IRCTC regional office spokesperson Shubham Arya said, “In Jyotirling tour package, we have 800 seats out of which 50% are reserved by tricity residents.” The press release said.
Seven-day tour to cover Shirdi, Ellora Package – Meanwhile, on April 19, IRCTC is offering a seven-day tour to religious destinations in Maharashtra, including Shirdi, Trimbakeshwar, Panchwati, Grishneshwar and Ellora.
The tour includes air-conditioned travel and stay besides food and escort, costing ₹19,580, per person. The package name is Shiv-Shani and Sai Darshan and the Superfast Express-22456 Charter Coach will depart from Chandigarh railway station on April 19 at 7:40pm. Besides AC charter coach, the tour includes AC accommodation in a hotel at Shirdi having three star facilities as per itinerary. Shirdi houses the famous Sai temple, a shrine built over Sai Baba’s samadhi in 1922. Other destinations covered in the tour package are Trimbakeshwar, Panchwati, Grishneshwar and Ellora.
