Pudducherri,June 20; As the world is gearing up for the third International Yoga Day, Pudicherrians are not far left behind in the preparations. Leading them in the forefront is Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi.
She has introduced Free Yoga sessions for Public at Raj Nivas. Isha Yoga foundation has come forward to teach yoga and Raj Nivas has planned to categorise the event into three sections.
The first day will be devoted to children on Tuesday followed by women on June 21, the International Day of Yoga and the general public. The event will be held every Sunday at 6 a.m. On the first day, as many as 75 students from various schools have participated.
This new initiative of yoga practice will now continue through the year, every Sunday. It will be open to public and those interested can assemble at the Raj Nivas lawn at 5.45 a.m.
