Religion Vs Coronavirus : Faith, Hope and Prayers
World surely never imagined of the images we are seeing today. As Corona Pandemic handicapped nations and innocent lives are facing the toughest time, we all pray for a miracle soon. Religion and faith places are worst effected as people have to follow social distancing and isolation norms. From Europe to USA, Asia to Middle East churches, mosques and temples have closed and the daily rituals are stopped mostly.
Faith is an enabler of hope. We pray supreme power to seek blessings and power to gain more in life. When the real threat is on life, all prayers goes for one wish – god bless us.
Pope Francis has urged priests to have the “courage to go out and visit the sick” and to “accompany the medical staff and volunteers in the work they do”. The Pope chose to live-stream his traditional Sunday message in an effort to reduce crowds at the Vatican.
Photos of the last Friday night Liturgy and Pope Francis’ blessing “to the City and to the World” for the first time in history(!!) held in the complete absence of believers themselves in the St. Peter’s Square.
