A New Destination for Pilgrimage!
Sadhu T. L. Vaswani and Dada J. P. Vaswani’s Samadhi to be built outside India
On 23rd November 2018, Guru Nanak Jayanti Day, and in commemoration of Sadhu T. L. Vaswani’s 139th Birthday, the Sadhu Vaswani Center of New York / New Jersey, with the financial support of a few devotees, acquired the land that will become the sacred resting place for the Masters’ Samadhi. This land is adjacent to the Sadhu Vaswani Center of East Brunswick, New Jersey, at 6 Perry Road. The large trees in this garden resemble the ones by the Sacred Samadhi in Pune, the ones Sadhu Vaswani so loved!
Soon, with the assistance, planning, and contribution of all devotees and well-wishers around the world the center will begin the humble task of building the Samadhi, a place of pilgrimage to all living outside India. The little home attached to the sacred Gardens is planned to become a library & Little Lamps Gurukul / Pre-school. In education lies one of the key tenets and future work of our Mission and the Masters’ vision.
In her message, Sister Krishna Kumari, Working Chairperson of Sadhu Vaswani Mission said, “This land is not merely a valuable piece of real estate. It is the fountainhead through which will flow and spread Dada’s ideals and teachings in thought, word and deed. The minds of the young ones will grow and flourish with the foundation you will lay. The kirtan chants will add to the divinity of the ambience. The seva or service you will carry out will provide succour and sustenance to those in need. Above all, the remarkable decision of establishing Dada’s Sacred Samadhi there, at the other end of the world, will provide refuge to the souls of thousands who are unable to traverse the distance to Pune, to the punya bhumi of the Sacred Samadhi here.”
