True to these words, Sri Satya Seva Organisation based in Delhi – National Capital Region, has kept its organization fully focused for the service of people because they truly followed the words of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who has called for giving back to the society in kind and service.
Yesterday the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation has released its Annual Activity Report for 2016-17. According to report the Delhi NCR chapter of SSSSO are working in these sectors.

The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation was founded in the 1960s by Sri Sathya Sai Baba to enable its members to undertake service activities as a means to spiritual advancement. The Sathya Sai Organisation derives inspiration, guidance and strength from Sai Baba’s mission and message of propagating the truth of man’s inherent divinity, which is proclaimed and preached by all religions of the world.
“The main objective of the Sathya Sai Organisation … is to help you recognize the divinity inherent in you. So, your duty is to emphasize the One, to experience the One in all you do or speak. Do not give importance to differences of religion, sect, status, or color. Have the feeling of one-ness permeate all your acts. Only those who do so have a place in this Organisation; the rest can withdraw.” – Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Sathya Sai Speaks IX, 35, 187-188
Objectives of the organization are multi fold. To highlight few: to help the individual; to ensure that all human relations are governed by the principles of Sathya (Truth), Dharma (Right Conduct), Shanthi(Peace), Prema (Love) and Ahimsa (Non-violence); and to make devotees more sincere and dedicated in the practice of their respective religions by understanding properly the true spirit of their religion. Every year Sri Sathya Sai Organisation undertakes spiritual, educational and service activities under the inspiration and guidance of Sri Sathya Sai Baba through the Sri Sathya Sai Samithis / Centres all over the globe.
Spiritual activities include devotional singing, study circles, public lectures, seminars, meditation etc. Service to mankind
Educational activities cover ‘Bal Vikas’ (for children) and Education in Human Values Programmes, besides formal academic education combined with the development of the character of the students for age group of 6 to 15.
Service activities include items such as organizing medical check-up camps, adoption of under-developed villages for accelerating rural development, blood donation, old age homes, etc.
Talking about activities to Religion World, Jatinder Cheema, President of the Organization, said, “We are proud of all the activities that we undertake. They are the lifeline for the organization’s growth and outreach to different kinds of people. Thanks to various activities that we do all over the year, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization is the most trusted and respected organization in Delhi-NCR.”
In a special conversation, Sri Jatinder Cheema continued to inform Religion World that, “The active workers and the office bearers through their selfless service imbibed, introspected and implemented the message of the lord: ‘love all, serve all’. I pray that the Organization scaled new heights in service of humankind in the year to come.”
Jatinder Cheema is very happy with all the activities that the Organization is taking up, but in particular he is very proud of ‘Life is a Game, Play it’. This is being organized for fifth year and is meant for college going youth in Delhi-NCR. The holistic personality development programme is to develop self-confidence among the young minds as well as inspire them by building human values and interdependence of all relationships. The programme also trains students on leadership, stress management and time management, “which is crucial for their life skill development.”
The Organisation has as its main objective selfless love and service without any distinction of religion, nationality, race, socio-economic status, either for those who work in the Organisation or for those who are served by them.
Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization ( Service to mankind ) is strictly following the path set by Bagwan Sathya Sai Baba and is sticking to the words: “I wish that the entire country of Bharat becomes clean and beautiful and its entire people live in peace and bliss. Swami’s happiness lies in the happiness of all. So, whatever work you undertake you should do it for the peace and happiness of all.”
