Separate Shia Waqf Board soon in Telangana
Telangana, July 24: In a recently held meeting the members of Central Waqf Council (CWC) have assured creation of a separate Shia Waqf Board soon after identifying the properties and their income.
Munawari Begum, a member of CWC said that an inspection has been carried out by the members at various places and at few places they found objectionable activities on the Waqf properties. The delegation has visited various Waqf properties where residential and commercial complexes have come up.

Later in the delegation discussed the issues pertaining to the tenants and sub-tenants with State Waqf Board chairman, Mohd Saleem and other members in a meeting.
Sources say that during the meeting, the CWC has also discussed the plan of creating a separate Shia Waqf Board. And very soon they will identify the Shia Properties and income across the state as per law. The decision come in the wake that the CWC has received many complaints from the Shia community regarding the negligence of the community by the state government and Ashoorkhanas being demolished.

Chairman Md Saleem has promised the community that the works in regarding creating the separate Wakf Board for Shia’s will start soon and that the Board will be on par with the Shia Waqf Board in Bihar and UP.
