Shankarmanchi Raghu Sharma, founder president of Sai Datta Peetham on Wednesday addressing a press conference in Hyderabad said that a Shirdi Saibaba temple would be built in New Jersey soon.
He said that the new temple would be built in an area of 25 acres, though there are lakhs of Saibaba temples across the world including in America this would be the first temple which will will be a replica of Shirdi in Maharashtra. Temple will be built in same measurements, structure and will have a Sai Samadhi Mandir, Dwaraka Maaye, Chaavadi, Lendi Gardens, Prasadalay and also a Hospital and an Education Centre.
Sharma said that the construction of the temple will start with Bhoomi Pooja on Vijayadasami this year and would be completed in a phased manner by 2018. One of the directors of the temple, Jekki Ramana Reddy informed that the Peetham will also organise Anna danam, Abhishekam, Archana, daily four times along with health camps there.
To raise the required fund for the project Sharma has travelled across America extensively for the past two years.
