Sri Pundrik Maharaj: A Soul to Serve
At the age of seven, a child only think about toys, chocolates, toffee and cartoons. But a soul, who destined to be a wisdom preacher of savouring knowledge, defy the age factor and amaze the world by his profoundness. It was 1995 when a seven-year-old boy was ready to impart knowledge of Bhagwat Gita. Today Sri Pundrik Goswami ji is 29 years old and the world and his followers are celebrating his birthday. Let’s know how Sri Pundrikji is serving the world with his knowledge and vision. His education from Oxford University adds value in his voyage of learning.

At the age of 29 years, Bhagwatacharya and Vedant preacher Sri Pundrik Goswamiji Maharaj is the meritorious Acharya to Madhva Gaureshvar Vaishnawas Peeth. He started doing open sessions of Bhagwat Gita at the tender age of seven! He was the youngest kid of India who has done Katha with his H.H. Sri Atul Krishna Goswamiji Maharaj and Sribhuti Krishna Goswami ji. He took over the charge of his family lineage at the age of 21.

He is following the path of his predecessors in spreading the message of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu through discourses on various Vaishnava scriptures all over the world so that people may benefit by knowing the real meaning of life. He not only preaches but also implements what is spoken in Katha. He leaves his listeners spellbound with his divine explanations on glorious Hari Lila and is miraculous in rendering lengthy phrases flawlessly. He is well versed in Srimad Bhagvat and revered for ambrosia discourses.
Sri Pundrik Goswami ji Maharaj has initiated many programmes to enlighten youth. International Gopal Clubs to promote Krishna consciousness is one of them. He is also accredited with envisaging Radha Vrindesh ju temple in Jalandhar and various other places of worship in other parts of the country. In his endeavour to pay homage to Sri Chaitnya Mahaprabhuji, he envisioned the temple in Amritsar. His divine grace and blissful teachings cultivated the barren hearts of people with eternal love for Radha Raman dev ju resulting in the arrival of Shadh Mahaprabhu after 16 years in April 2016. This temple is the first one of Sri Shadbhuj Mahaprabhu in northern India. The Vigrah dextrously portrays Krishna, Ram and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in one.

Gaushala: In accordance with the traditions of Santana Dharam Sri Pundrik Goswami ji Maharaj perpetuates and guides a gaushala in Vrindavan, where more than 100 cows are looked after. Many Vrindvan Krishna breed cows are sheltered and nurtured in the cowshed. With regards to the cow service, massive efforts are generated by Sri Pundrik Ji Maharaj. Maharajji is involved with lot of organisations for serving Mother Cow. Even during his Kathas (lectures), a definite prominence is laid on Cow service. Maharajji is a fervid adherent towards world largest Gaushala – Shri Pathmeda Godham. In his constant observance – cow service is considered paramount (सर्वोपरि) by Maharajji. In his efforts to promote cow service – cow shed are also nurtured and envisioned in various parts of the country – Amritsar, Jalandhar, Jaipur and Ludhiana to name a few. Following his persistent yearning for Gauseva, Maharajji has endorsed the idea of celebrating Gopashtami (8th November) every year as WORLD COW DAY.
Seva: Many trusts are formed all over, which are always ready for any kind of Humanitarian works. Distribution of wheelchairs, eye operations, helping the needy for marriages and many more Seva are conducted under the trusts. Shri Pundrikji took initiative in starting a Ved Bhagwat Vidyalaya in Vrindavan, which will be free. He wants to work for the education of children, as it is the need of today.
