Tript Roti Bank : Serving Food to LEPROSY, HIV & TB patients
What is service to humanity means for you? Is it charity or helping the needy? The definition of seva is little different, it goes beyond any discrimination. Food can unite humanity, by taking this core thought Tript Roti Bank has started a service for LEPROSY, HIV & TB patients. They serve protein rich full meals to the needy. These patients have to take heavy medicines daily, so to digest the heavy dose of such medicines one needs to have a stomach full. Everyday Tript Roti Bank serve 4400 chapatis to them and more than 150 chapatis to drugs de-addiction camps. They supply atta (wheat) and pulses to leprosariums and every Thursday missi parantha with fresh mint green chutney so the taste buds are alive. The thought to service also reached to every living entity, so Biscuits and rotis to the street dogs and birds. Rotis to cows etc. Sugar to ants.
To serve every part of human life,Tript Roti Bank has recently started a campaign for Sanitary Napkins. TRB collects sanitary napkins and give to the needy girls like in blind school, national association for the blind etc. TRB collects minimum a packet from each house we get in touch with through their contacts. And now the Facebook and Whatsapp. We help the blind girls who need these pads for hygiene but can’t afford.
