TTD Plans “Tiruppavai” Discourses for Dhanurmasam at 195 Centres across the Country
As part of the Divyaprabanda Alwar project of TTD plans to conduct Tiruppavai discourses at 195 locations across the country besides Tirumala and Tirupati as part of its Hindu dharma promotion activity during the holy Dhanur masam from Dec 16 to Jan-14, 2018.
At the Srivari Temple, Tirumala, Suprabata seva has been replaced with Tiruppavai. Similarly the Tiruppavai discourses will be conducted from 7 to 8am at the Asthana Mandapam at Tirumala and that of Sri PAT at Tirichanoor, Annamacharya Kalamandir, Varadarajaswamy Temple on KT Road, Geeta Mandiram at TTD Ramnagar quarters, Sri Malayala Sadguru Seva Samajam in Sripuram Colony, Sri Bhaktanjaneya temple at Bairagipatteda, Sri Venkateswaralayam at Tummalagunta, Sri Venkateswara temple Trust at Chandragiri road.

Discourses are organized at Sri Dharmaraja temple of Puttur in Chittoor Dist, Sri Ramalayam at Rajapalem, Sri Prasanna Varadarajaswami temple of Lakshmipuram in Kuppam. Other locations across the country were Guruvayoor in Kerala, Shironcha in Maharashtra, New Delhi, Rayagarh and Parkalkemundi n Odisha besides Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
Dhanurmasa vratam was observed by Godadevi one of the 12 Alwars for sake of Loka Kalyanam and prosperity of the country. Godadevi had penned the importance and process of the Dhanurmasam vratam in 30 rituals which are performed without fail in all the vaishnavite temples in the country.
