World largest Peace Dome inaugurated by Vice President of India
Acharya Lokesh addressed World Parliament of Science, Religion and Philosophy in Pune
The largest World Peace Dome was inaugurated by Vice President of India in Pune. One the occasion Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, Founder President of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti address the most unique and Historic Parliament of Science, Religion and Philosophy as distinguished speaker organised from 2nd to 5th October 2018 jointly by World Peace Centre, Alandi, Pune MIT Art Design and Technology University and MIT World Peace University, Pune.
The event amalgamates SCIENCE, RELIGION AND PHILOSOPHY bringing the world together as one family (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam) for Peace, Harmony, Universal Brotherhood and Oneness. Acharya Lokesh Muni was honoured on this occasion.
Acharya Lokesh Muni on the subject ‘Religion and Religious Scriptures of the world are the life guiding principle’ said that religion is a philosophy based on spiritual beliefs. It aims to give guidelines that would help to enhance the spiritual side of an individual and eventually it will enhance the dynamics of life. Religion has three dimensions Prayers/ worshiping, Ethics and Spirituality. Only when an individual practices all the three the real essence of religion as achieved. Religion is the set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature and purpose of life. All religions contain a moral code governing the conduct of human life.
Acharya Lokesh said that religious scriptures are the true guides that tell us how to practice religion, give us the deep knowledge of religious principles which dictate physical, mental, spiritual, or historical elements considered important to a specific religion. Understanding these scriptures is very important.
