Yoga Day Celebration in Delhi by Brahma Kumaris and Ministry of AYUSH
New Delhi, June 20: A mass Yoga congregation of about fifty thousand yoga lovers from Delhi-NCR, will be held on International Day of Yoga (IDY-2019) at Red Fort Grounds here this Friday. Scheduled to be the biggest gathering for Yoga Day Celebrations in Delhi, this event is jointly being organized by the Brahma Kumaris and Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India.
Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India will preside over this Grand Yoga Assembly at Lal Quila as Chief Guest while India’s Surface Transport Minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari has been designated by AYUSH Ministry to lead this Yoga Event.

Several Inter-Faith Leaders including Janab Firoz Bakht Ahmed, Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad; Giani Harnam Singh, Head Priest, Gurudwara Sisganj Sahib, Chandni Chowk, Delhi; Dr. A. K. Merchant, National Trustee, Lotus Temple & Baha’i Community of India and Rabbi Ezekiel Isaac Malekar, Priest & Hon. Secretary, Judah Hyam Synagogue, New Delhi will attend and give their greetings on the efficacy of yoga in promoting all-around health, harmony, peace, unity, and universal brotherhood.
