A Global Spiritual conclave will be held at Santhigiri Ashram, Kerala from August 24. The six day conclave is being held in memory of its founder Karunakara Guru’s 90th birth anniversary.
The Conclave will be attended by the Thinkers, spiritualists, scientists, and doctors from within the country and outside. It is being held under the aegis of the Santhigiri Research Foundation. Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Sudarshan Bhagat will inaugurate the meet on August 24.
As part of the Conclave, a seminar on ‘Sanathana Dharmam and Karunakara Guru’s philosophy’ will be held and will be inaugurated by Mark Juergensmeyer, Professor of Global Studies and Sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
The conclave will discuss the role of Dharma in Indian culture, the philosophy and perspectives of various religions on Dharma, Karunakara Guru’s perspectives on Dharma and so on.
