Jainism

Jain Religion ,  traditionally known as Jain Dharma, is an ancient, non-theistic, Indian religion, founded by Jina Mahavira in the 5th century BCE. Followers of Jainism are called "Jains". Jains believe that Jain Religion is an eternal dharma with the tirthankaras guiding every cycle of the Jain cosmology. Jain Religion has two major ancient sub-traditions, Digambaras and Śvētāmbaras; Jain Religion has  four and five million followers, with most Jains residing in India. Outside India. The principle of ahimsa is a fundamental tenet of Jainism. The idea of reverence for non-violence (ahiṃsā) is founded in Hindu and Buddhist canonical texts, and it may have origins in more ancient Brahmanical Vedic thoughts.
