URI-Chishty Foundation – India National Assembly
Sunday, Ajmer Sharif : The 8th United Religions National Conference, held at Ajmer Sharif, November 10th-12th 2017 was inaugurated by the Religious Leaders from Interfaith Alliance, Ajmer City, upon invitation from the Chishty Foundation Ajmer Shairf . The URI National Assembly was attended by over 100 delegates and active regional members URI Asia Network from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. The Conference began with securing the blessings of the religious leaders of each religion and a cultural event in which the members from the Co-operation Circle and other delegates participated in with great ardor. The night ended with the trance inducing Chishty sama-e-qawaali from Dargah Ajmer Sharif that ensured everyone in attendance became one with the divine and rediscovered their spiritual humanity. The Second Day began with Catherine from the San Francisco office engaging all members in the activities to reinforce cooperation between the different generations that bring diversity of thought and work culture to URI. The interactive sessions were designed such that very member not only unpacked each other but also leant to identify how they were united in their diversity. The day saw presentation by different CC members regarding their efforts in creating a peaceful society through effective conflict transformation. The night ended with a ceremony where CC members were honored for their work by the different coordinators of URI-India.
The final 3rd day today had a blessed Beginning with early morning 6 am Sufi Meditations Zikr Chants of Allah Hu led by Haji Syed Salman Chishty – Chairman – Chishty Foundation – Ajmer at the world renowned Sufi Shrine of Hz. khawja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty (ra) – Dargah Ajmer Sharif . All 100 delegates from our global offices joined the Sufi meditation at the beautiful marble decorated Shahjahani Mosque spiritual environment which carry the grace and legacy of 800 years Sufi wisdom of Unconditional Love Towards All and Malice towards None.
Mr Salman Chishty gave a talk about Chishty Sufi Order to all URI global delegates.
URI also offered a Holy Chaddar of World Peace and Roses for World Climate Sustainability on behalf of 102 countries global office bearers of the organization . A recorded video message of Sufi Wisdom by Syed Salman Chishty at Dargah Ajmer Sharif shall be shared at 102 countries offices of URI.
A visit to the Holy Dargah and Sufi Meditation was the highlight of our URI India National Assembly .
Haji Syed Salman Chishty has graciously accepted to lead Co Operation Circle of URI on behalf of Ajmer Sharif Holy City.
In Concluding session the remarks for future guidelines and work ethics were discussed by various regional head of CC.
Closing remarks were delivered by Bishwadeb Ji, Qutb Jahan Kidwai and Subhi Dohpl on behalf of INDIA to the global participants. Special focus of Remarks were on celebrating Unity in Diversity which is the real strength of our great nation – INDIA.
Vote of Thanks with special gratitude to Chishty Foundation – Ajmer Sharif was given Miss Catherine on behalf of URI Global Head Quarter – San Fransisco – USA.
