Eid Ul Azha – Joint Namaz by Sunni and Shiite’s in Lucknow

This Eid-ul-Adha will witness another example of religious harmony and brotherhood in Lucknow for its Ganga-Jamni Tahzib when the Sunni and Shiite Muslims of the city will stand together for prayer. Namaz will be offered in Imambada, Hazratganj, at 8 AM on September 2, 2017.

This is the third joint prayer organized by Lucknow-based “Shoulder-To-Shoulder Institution” to be held on the holy occasion of Eid. This year, immediately after namaz, an Eid Milan program has been organized in which people of different faith are invited.

A special aspect of this event is that in this, guests will be welcomed by non-Muslim volunteers of Shoulder-To-Shoulder.

The entire program will be streamed live via Facebook and under the signature campaign, the visitor will automatically send you messages on peace and brotherhood.

Shoulder to Shoulder began as a citizens movement in 2015 during Eid-ul-Zuha and since then worked together with people on several inter religious causes for keeping the syncretic nature of India alive.
