New Delhi: On the occasion of Communal Harmony Week founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, Shri Paramjit Singh Chandok Chairman DGSC, Father Muthu Sankar from the Archdiocese of Delhi Catholic Church, Syed Kaifi ji and National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) Vice Chairman Anusuiya Uikey addressing DD National New India Sankalp TV show said that All religions of the world preach unity, brotherhood and harmony. Peace is necessary for development. Religious unity and harmony will lead to development.  They said that we should work together to give the message of communal harmony and brotherhood.

Ambassador of Peace Acharya Lokesh Muni said that violence on the name of community, caste and religion is harmful for the development of the country. It is the duty of all Indians to together work for the development of the country. Acharya Lokesh said that Racist and Communal violence, an atmosphere of tension brings instability in the society which hammers developmental works. Peace is necessary for development, Interreligious harmony is key to this. Religious and Communal Unity brings development for the people of the country.  Violence cannot solve any problem. Violence gives rise to counter violence. All disputes can be solved through dialogue. Unity in Diversity is our Indian Culture. It is the duty of every Indian to protect this Indian culture.

Shri Paramjit Singh Chandok said that relevance and purposefulness of religion lies in creating peaceful, organised, independent, parity, developed and progressive conditions in the society. The society in which there is coordination between religion and philosophy we find congruence between thoughts and action peace and mutual brotherhood.

Father Muthu Sankar and Syed Kaifi ji said that in social life peace, brotherhood, love, non-violence leads to development of all sections of the society. Inter Religion harmony is the key to development. When Saints of different religion will give the message of Peace and Brotherhood a harmonious atmosphere will be created in society.

All Religious Gurus present at the show took oath to work for maintaining Religious Unity, Communal Harmony and peace in the country.
