भारत के राष्ट्रपति श्री रामनाथ कोविन्द ने कहा कि मैटिरियललिज्म और प्रतिस्पर्धा से घिरी, डिजीटल युग की युवा पीढी में तनाव, असुरक्षा और दुविधाएं बढ रही हैं। ऐसे में गीता उनके लिए आध्यात्मिक औषधि सिद्ध होगी। श्री कोविन्द आज यहां कुरूक्षेत्र में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव कार्यक्रम में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विचार गोष्ठी में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में देश-विदेश से आए हुए लोगों कइो संबोधित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि गीता का संदेश देश और काल से ऊपर है और प्राचीन काल के कृषि पर आधारित समाज से लेकर परवर्ती काल में वाणिज्य और उद्योग पर आधारित समाज तक और उसके भी बाद की नोलेज सोसायटी तक गीता की प्रासंगिकता हर युग में रही है और आगे भी बनी रहेगी।

उन्होंने कहा कि आधुनिक युग में, पश्चिम में अमेरिका से लेकर पूर्व में जापान तक, योग की लोकप्रियता योगशास्त्र गीता की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय और युगातीत प्रासंगिकता को रेखांकित करती है। आज के डिजीटल युग में गीता के संदेश को पूरे विश्व में प्रसारित करना और भी आसान हो गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि पूरी मानवता के लिए योगशास्त्र गीता अत्यंत उपयोगी है। विश्व समुदाय 21 जून को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के रूप में मनाने का निर्णय सहजता और शीघ्रता के साथ इसीलिए कर पाया कि योग पूरी मानवता के कल्याण के लिए है। गीता पूरे विश्व के लिए आध्यात्मिक दीप स्तम्भ है। अध्यात्म भारत की आत्मा है जो पूरे विश्व के लिए भारत का उपहार है। गीता भारतीय अध्यात्म का सबसे लोकप्रिय और प्रसिद्ध ग्रंथ है।

Haryana Government today launched monthly pension scheme for Matrabhasha Satyagraihis at a programme organized as part of International Gita Mahotsav here today.

As many as 194 beneficiaries of Matrabhasha Satyagarihi have been identified in the first phase.

RSS Chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat, Haryana Governor, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor Himachal Pradesh, Acharya Dev Vrat and Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal presented cheques of Rs10,000 each to eight beneficiaries as pension for the month of November.
