Madarsa’s are considered to be the most religious centric institutes where Science and technology can ever find a place but the Madarsa in Bidadi, is changing perceptions.
The Moosa Haroon Masjid and Madrasa in Bidadi, which is just a few kilometres away from the Bengaluru, are using an iPad, along with internet connectivity to teach its 70-odd students.
Rizwan Ahmed, Madarsa says that they have realised the importance of internet hence are utilizing the source for the benefit of its students. He adds that they are being cautious at how the internet is being used and the children are also taught about the adverse effects of the over usage of internet.
Now thanks to the Internet students who were taught religious-centric education with Math and Science, till now can pep up their boring subjects with an audio-visual demonstration. Teachers have said that the audio- visual demonstration helps the students grasp and retain the subject faster.
