Pope’s My idea of Art documentary released

The Vatican Museums has released a new documentary based on the book “Pope Francis – My idea of Art”(Papa Francesco – La mia idea do Arte) .

My idea of Art explores the concept of art through 11 celebrated works. It is written by the Pope with Tiziana Lupi and publishes jointly by Mandadori and Vatican Museums House.

Barbara Jatta, Director of the Vatican Museums has presented the documentary recently to the world. She said that “The art of mercy is truly Pope Francis’ idea of art. It is art that is directed toward the humble And the Vatican Museums correspond directly to the Pope’s message on art.”

The DVD documentary is subtitled in 6 languages and will be distributed in Italy and throughout the rest of the world in the coming months.
