The TTD will observe Sri Vilambi Nama Ugadi Utsavam on Sunday at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati. The day will commence with Mangala Dhwani, Nadaswaram, and Veda Parayanam. TTD will also conduct Panchanga Sravanam and Astavadhanam on the occasion.
The entire premises of Tirumala temple have been spruced up to welcome Ugadi on Sunday. On this celestial occasion, the deities including mula virat will be decorated with new set of clothes. Later, prasadam will be distributed.
TTD has cancelled arjitha sevas on Sunday in view of Ugadi. The children of employees will present a show wearing the guises of “Telugu Vaitalikulu” (renowned scholars of Telugu literature) which will be followed by prize distribution ceremony. Later, the famous ‘Ugadi Pacchadi’ will be distributed, according to a release here on Friday.
