She can walk again!
Rohini is a graduate with a B.Ed. Degree. She lost both her legs in an electric shock accident. No longer able to stand, no longer able to pursue her dreams….until she heard of the Artificial Limbs Camp being held by Sadhu Vaswani Mission in the area.
Measured, calibrated…she was excited. The limbs finally came and she could not contain her joy. And the very first time, she got it recorded and shared it back with us – walking without support, back on her feet again, back to pursue her dreams in life!
Said Salil Jain at the Camp, “We had fitted Jaipur foot (both legs) to this young girl at Latur camp. Really proud to be part of this great Artificial Limbs Campaign. Thanks to Dada J.P. Vaswani ji and Sadhu Vaswani Mission for giving this opportunity to us to serve the poor.”
Running the program through its Inlaks & Budhrani Hospital, Sadhu Vaswani Mission has distributed 14,483 free artificial limbs till date, including the two given to Ms. Rohini.
