Radha Soami Satsang Beas Donated Centre for Delhi’s largest Covid Care Centre

Radha Soami Beas Delhi Chattarpur centre is now India’s largest Covid Care Center, Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) took over the Covid Care Centre as nodal agency to take care of the operations at the facility.

Delhi. Spiritual organisation Radha Soami Satsang Beas had donated its in Chhatarpur Satsang Centre to converted into a Covid-19 quarantine facility with 10,000 beds. This ashram has spread over 70 acres which is over 22 football fields. The facility will start working from 1st July. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal thanks the organisation for this support.

As ITBP look after the centre, central government has come forward to develop this centre with full facilities. Biodegradable beds, 500 urinals, 450 bathing rooms, oxygen facilities and wheelchairs and many other arrangements are done.

More than 1000 doctors of ITBP and 2000 more paramedical, assistant and security staff will be deployed at the facility. The administrative support to the centre will be provided by South Delhi District Administration.

The Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) was established in India in 1891. At the centre of RSSB and its teachings is a ‘spiritual teacher’, who explains the purpose of life through daily meditation practices. Presently, the teacher is Baba Gurinder Singh.
