Country to celebrate Eid-Ul-Azha tomorrow

Eid-ul-Azha shall be celebrated across the country tomorrow with great religious fervor to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim.

The day will dawn with special prayers in mosques for well-being of the Ummah. Eid congregations would be held at mosques, Eidgahs and open places in all cities, towns and villages across the country. Authorities across the country have made special arrangements for the smooth festival.

After offering Eid prayers, the faithful will slaughter their sacrificial animals, including cows, camels, goats and sheep, in remembrance of Sunnat-e Ibrahimi. The meat of sacrificed animals will be distributed among relatives and the poor to share Eid celebrations.

A head of Eid, cities and towns across the country are flooded with Live stock for ‘Qurbani’. Epecially a goat from Hyderabad is grabbing eyeballs, as priced at 1.10 lakhs.

Congratulating Muslims on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, noted Muslim clerics have appealed them not to give any scope for complaints by others. This appeal was issued by Maulana Rabey Hasani, President, Muslim Personal Law Board, Maulana Jalaluddin, Ameer of Jamat-e-Islami and others. They further told that those who can afford should offer “Qurbani”. They should not refrain from it due to certain difficulties. “Qurbani” is not a ritual but it is the tradition of Hazrat Ibrahim Khaleelullah which Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) adopted.

They also instructed the Muslims to dump the remains of the animals at the appropriate place and not to give any room for any complaint. In case of violence, police should be informed.
