Shiv Aradhana Nourished the Roots of Spirituality at Perth, Western Australia

Spirituality by very meaning is the quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things. The problem arises when one doesn’t know how to know the soul. To know the soul, one has to be connected with the master of all souls, the Supreme God. In order to make masses of Perth aware of these roots of spirituality, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), with the warm grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (founder and head of DJJS), held a spiritual program called ‘Shiv Aradhana’ on 23^rd February 2018 at Bayswater, Perth, Australia. The program was an attempt to unfold the true meaning of devotion through the elaboration of Lord Shiv’s spiritual aspects.

Lord Shiva is also known as Adiyogi, i.e., the eternal ascetic. Lord Shiva in this aspect presents an example for the humans to strive for the highest spiritual goal; the eternal knowledge – Brahm Gyan. Lord Shiva as Adiyogi represent the line of thought that any human can remain spiritually connected to the Supreme Being at all times while fulfilling worldly duties as well as human relations. However, such a highest goal can only be attained when a spiritually awakened teacher (Guru) bestows divine knowledge on the seeker.

Lord Shiva in art represents the aspect of being a Guru as well. In the Dakshinamurti idol Lord Shiva is shown as imparting divine knowledge to saints. The knowledge that Lord Shiva is shown imparting takes the human from ignorance to divine light within. The eternal knowledge empowers the person to make wise choices in life, thereby making the entire life divine. Hence, it is important to find a Guru who can enlighten the individual and set him/her onto the path of spirituality. DJJS presents that very option to the world where all are welcome. Any individual irrespective of class and creed can attain Brahm Gyan from His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.
